2645e80f6d Add/improve PPC64 support. On such machines, "uname -m" returns "ppc64,

2f30a81d19 CONFIG_WIN32 implies MinGW and Cygwin and possibly more, so use just 
CONFIG_MINGW or __MINGW32__ instead.
